More and more people today are in need of care, and the demand for appropriate support is growing accordingly. If you are open towards older and younger people and people with disabilities, and also enjoy helping in everyday life, this course is exactly right for you. You qualify as a care worker in line with state requirements and, with the knowledge newly acquired with us, can support people in need of care with their emotional, social and mental needs. With our life companion training, we offer participants a comprehensive basic education for working in a new field. The life companion training provides you with the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the responsible and independent care and support of older or younger people.

As a geriatric nurse (m/f/d), you care for, support, advise and accompany older people, often becoming one of the most important people in their lives during this process. You accompany your clients in the final stage of their lives, helping to preserve human dignity and personality.

Training in elderly care – free with an education voucher

The elderly care training programme lasts 6 months. It comprises theoretical and practical lessons in our own rooms as well as practical training in an elderly care facility with an additional internship. The course complies with the state guidelines for care workers, so the qualification from this course is generally recognised. With an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) from the Federal Employment Agency, not only participation in the retraining is funded, but also travel costs and, where applicable, costs for external accommodation and meals.
