TÜV-Certified Welder (m/f/d)

Training as an international welder in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1/2 – possible from German level A2.

Welding means “the permanent joining of components using heat and/or pressure, with or without filler material”. Of all the processes, fusion welding is the best known.

The qualifications at our centre are carried out in line with the recommended training guidelines. In welding technology in particular, our training centre follows the DIN EN ISO 9606-1 and 2 standards. From a total of 24 modules (MMA, MAG, TIG mild steel, TIG CrNi) we create your individual training plan.

At the beginning, you complete a practical exercise, the so-called practical skills test. This shows us what you can already do and which modules you still need for your training. If you like, you can do an internship – together we'll see whether the profession is right for you.

How the training works:

  • Practice: You practise welding on the designated practice pieces of each module.
  • Examinations: At the end of each module there are tests and learning checks.
  • Qualification: Our training meets the official training guidelines of TÜV Rheinland.
  • Completion: We help you find a job and train you specifically for your future tasks.
  • German for work: During the training you can also learn job-related German.

General information

Manual arc welding / MMA welding (modules 1–6)
  • Fusion welding process with an electric arc for unalloyed steels, cast steel and cast iron.
  • Fields of application: steel and metal construction, mechanical engineering, apparatus engineering, bridge building, pipeline construction, locksmith work.
MAG welding (modules 1–6)
  • Gas-shielded welding process with active gases for sheets and pipes made of unalloyed and high-alloy steels.
  • Fields of application: automotive engineering, structural engineering, steel construction, tank and vessel construction, railing production, mechanical engineering.
TIG welding, mild steel (modules 1–6)
  • Tungsten inert gas welding with a non-consumable electrode for unalloyed and low-alloy steels.
  • Fields of application: pipeline construction, apparatus engineering, vessel construction, power plant construction, mechanical engineering.
TIG welding, CrNi (modules 1–6)
  • Tungsten inert gas welding for sheets and pipes made of high-alloy steels.
  • Fields of application: pipeline construction, apparatus engineering, commercial kitchen equipment, hospital metalwork, beverage and food industry.
Certificates & validity
  • Examination in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1/2 by TÜV Rheinland (every 2 weeks at our premises).
  • The certificate qualifies you to apply your welding skills in the workplace – for steel (DIN EN ISO 9606-1) for 3 years, for aluminium (DIN EN ISO 9606-2) for 2 years.
  • Each module is AZAV-certified.
Entry requirements
  • German language skills from level A2 – job-related language support available.
  • Craft experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Also for welders who need to renew or extend their certificate.
