More and more people are in need of care these days and the need for appropriate care is growing accordingly. If you are open-minded towards older and younger people and people with disabilities and also enjoy providing help in everyday life, this course is just right for you. You will qualify as a carer in accordance with state regulations and will be able to use your newly acquired knowledge to support people in need of care with their emotional, social and mental needs. With further training to become a life companion, we offer our participants comprehensive basic training for working in a new field of activity. The life companion training programme provides you with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to independently and autonomously care for older or younger people.
Training profile as a life companion (m/f/d)
As a life companion (m/f/d), you care for, support, advise and accompany young and older people and are therefore often one of the most important caregivers in this process. You will accompany your clients in the last stage of their lives and thus ensure that human dignity and personality are preserved.
Further training as a life companion (m/f/d) - free of charge with an education voucher
Further training as a life companion (m/f/d) lasts 6 months. It includes theoretical and practical lessons in our own facilities as well as practical training in an institution with an additional internship. The course complies with state guidelines. This means that the completion of this course is generally recognised. With an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency, not only participation in the retraining course is subsidised, but also travel costs, costs for any accommodation and meals away from home.
