Treatment care is a sub-area of home and inpatient care for the elderly. Nursing assistants can carry out more activities with treatment care without the three-year vocational training to become a carer. Treatment care includes measuring blood pressure, infusions, injections, changing and maintaining tracheostomy tubes and applying dressings.<\/p><p>The further training course in treatment nursing is intended as an advanced course that can be used to provide nursing assistants with further qualifications or to enable those who have no training to enter the labour market.<\/p><p>The tasks of treatment care can be carried out independently after 1 year of professional experience (full-time) in nursing as well as a three-month internship in the field of treatment
