What is an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein)? / Who pays the costs? / What are funding bodies?
The education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) is a voucher with which the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit), the Jobcenter and the German Pension Insurance cover the costs of retraining, qualification and further training programmes as well as travel expenses.
What are the class times?
Full-time classes run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Part-time classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (currently only available in care programmes)
Is there any holiday?
Our retraining participants are entitled to the statutory minimum of 20 days of holiday. Further training and qualification programmes lasting longer than 6 months also include statutory holiday.
Are there preliminary internships?
Yes, we offer them free of charge.
How many participants are in a class?
As a rule, there are 15 participants per class. Classes are often held in small groups.
Do I have to buy books myself?
No. We provide all learning materials.
Are your premises barrier-free?
Yes. Our premises are fully accessible and every floor can be reached comfortably by lift. The public transport stops nearby are also equipped with lifts and escalators
