More and more people are in need of care these days and the need for appropriate care is growing accordingly. If you are open-minded towards older and younger people and people with disabilities and also enjoy providing help in everyday life, this course is just right for you. You will qualify as a carer in accordance with state regulations and will be able to use your newly acquired knowledge to support people in need of care with their emotional, social and mental needs. With further training to become a life companion, we offer our participants comprehensive basic training for working in a new field of activity. The life companion training programme provides you with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to independently and autonomously care for older or younger people.

Training profile in geriatric care
As a geriatric nurse (m/f/d), you care for, support, advise and accompany older people and are therefore often one of the most important caregivers in this process. You will accompany your clients in the last stage of their lives and thus ensure that their dignity and personality are preserved.

Further training in geriatric care - free of charge with an education voucher
The training programme in geriatric care lasts 6 months. It includes theoretical and practical lessons on our own premises as well as practical training in a geriatric care facility with an additional internship. The course complies with the state guidelines for carers. This means that the completion of this course is generally recognised. With an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency, not only participation in the retraining course is subsidised, but also travel costs, costs for any accommodation and meals away from home.
